MFT and Sketch Saturday

I was on a serious roll today.  I need to get all of my cards done for February as my hand is going to be out of commission again after the 4th.  Besides isn't it much more relaxing when you are ahead of the game?

Let us start with the MFT card challenge.  Here is their sketch

I had the perfect idea for this one and kept very close to the sketch.

This is so pretty in real life the picture doesn't do it justice.

Supplies -
MFT - Blueprint #1 die
PTI - Melon Berry patterned paper, plum pudding & terracotta cardstocks
PTI - 2015 Birthday tags stamps
PTI - Limitless layers oval die
PTI ink - plum pudding & smokey shadow

Next up is the card challenge from Sketch Saturday.  Here is their sketch

My card is for my Great Niece who is turning 1 at the beginning of February.  I just loved this cute little digi girl that I could color in all those cute pink and purples.

I decided simple would best highlight my heart shaped dies.  Here is my card -

The picture is a little dark as it was snowing and gloomy outside when I took the picture.

I really think my sister will enjoy this don't you?

Supply list

PTI cardstock - pure poppy and white shimmer
PTI ink - pure poppy & smokey shadow
PTI die & stamps - Bountiful banners and Keep it simple anniversary

Mojo Monday

One more for today.

I follow another blog, Mojo Monday, that also had a really cute sketch this week.  The prize for this last week is your choice of a stamp set over at  the Verve Stamps shop. As I have quite a few birthdays both this month and next it was time to start creating.  Sketch's make this process so much easier as then all that is needed is picking out paper, stamps and ink colors to complete the project.  Here is their sketch for this past week:

I told you this was cute.  And here is my take on their sketch:

This is going to be the perfect card for my brother in law whose birthday is this month.

Here are the supplies I used:

Papertrey Ink - cardstock - Tropical Teal
Little Yellow Bicycle - pattern paper - Fern & forest
Papertrey Ink - stamps & dies - Songbirds & Mat stack 7 basics
Stampin Up - ink - chocolate chip

Thank you for stopping by!

Sketch Saturday

Happy Sunday everyone.

I follow quite a few blogs over on bloglovin and I can't say how convenient that makes things.  This particular blog, Sketch Saturday, has a really cute sketch that I thought was simple and I could then create a quite elegant sympathy card I need to mail tomorrow.  Here is the sketch

And here is the link to the blog Sketch Saturday.  This week the giveaway is a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says and we all know how much I like to shop.

Without further ado here is my take on the sketch

I really like how this turned out and might need to use this design a few more times this year.

Here is a list of my supplies:

Papertrey Ink cardstock - New Leaf
Papertrey Ink - Royal Velvet ink
Papertrey Ink - Cutting Garden stamp (sympathy)
Prima - Say it in Crystals
Wild Rose Studio - Bluebell paper (flowers) - this was a free gift from my Quick Cards subscription
