Papertrey Ink Make it Monday

I have today off for Columbus day and decided to get a little crafty.  I joined in on the MIM over here.  You can check out the video there as well.
I really love the shape shifter dies and thought this was a great idea.  I used some patterned paper on my card but Ashley used a coverup stamp on some plain cardstock for hers.  What a quick and easy card idea!

Here is my card

I just know the recipient is going to love this as much as I do.

This is the card that I chose for my inspiration.

Isn't it beautiful?
And here is what I created.

I changed the orientation as I wanted to use that particular greeting.

PTI Create with Us

It has been months since my last post I just noticed.  Hmmmm busy and not sharing my creations it would seem.
Today I needed to make another birthday card for a family member and at the same time create something that I could post for the challenge this week over at PTI.  Who doesn't like the possibility of winning a GC to their store?  Here is the link to the post if you want to join in PTI.
Anyway, if you know me at all you know I just love everything that Dawn McVey creates so I am using her idea as the base for my card.
Here is her card...
Isn't the whole design just beautiful!
Now I didn't have any of the items she used so I improvised with stamp/dies in my stash.  Here is my card...
I thought it would be fun to use some of her products that I haven't used in awhile.  I also used a holiday set as my flower borders on this birthday card, love the simplicity of that set.

Here is a list of my supplies (everything is PTI except the last item):

Raspberry Suite - Holiday Greens Borders & 2015 Birthday tags
To the Point Edgers II
Ink- Green Parakeet, New Leaf & Raspberry Fizz
Paper - Green Parakeet, Cocoa Bean & Bright Buttercup
Sequins
Scallop die from Spellbinders

Ink - Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Pale Peony & Lilac Grace

I hope you enjoyed this cute card and join in over on PTI's blog.

PTI 11th Anniversary challenges

Papertrey Ink will be retiring stamp sets in May.  The challenge was to use a set off of the retiring list.
I have had this set for quite some time and haven't really used it yet.  This was my perfect opportunity.  At first I tried to do some stamping but then realized that the images pre-printed would look perfect after cutting them out with the matching dies.
I was so happy  how quickly this came together being that I wanted to get this done on a work night.

Here is my card

Supplies:

Make It Market kit Color Pop Butterflies
Keep it Simple Birthday III stamp

PTI 11th Anniversary

Today's challenge was to use only dies to create a card.  No stamping allowed.  I had to put on my thinking cap for this one as most of my cards are stamped floral images.  You can check out the challenge here.
I found the perfect PTI die to create this card.

I just love how this turned out with all the different greens I used.

Supplies:

PTI  You've Been Framed Diamond Die
PTI Happy birthday
PTI cardstock colors - Simply Chartreuse, Tropical Teal & Saffron Spice

My purchase came just in time for me to create this adorable card.  Here is mine:
